As a senior accountant, you report directly to the CFO and you are an experienced practitioner in the areas of accounting and finance. You are able to implement these experiences, you are familiar with the necessary processes and instruments, and you always have the financial integrity of our company in focus. You have a good eye for necessary optimizations and can drive them forward in a rapidly developing international business environment.

# The task that awaits you

• Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and operational support for the team
• Monitoring, planning and controlling financial activities within the accounting department
• Optimization of internal departmental processes as well as regular coordination with other company departments (e.g. in operational budget planning or ensuring billing and internal cost flows for project and operational services)
• Assuming project responsibility to improve the capture, processing and use of accounting information
• Budget monitoring and participation in budget preparation and forecasts
• Further development of the reporting system and the visualization of the results
• Ensuring correct national and international VAT returns
• Contact person for auditors, tax advisors and authorities

# Your qualification

• Completed degree in economics with a focus on finance/accounting or comparable other qualification (tax advisor, financial accountant IHK) as well as several years of experience in accounting, preferably in a corporate environment/medium-sized business or with a background at an auditing company
• Experience in bank-like or transaction-oriented companies in an international environment preferred
• Expert in dealing with ERP systems (MS Dynamics NAV or comparable), common BI tools and MS Office
• German and fluent English, additional language skills are an advantage
